Two Years In Office: Chief Obarilomate Begins Construction of New Council Secretariat

… Flags off Health Insurance and Empowerment Scheme

As part of activities to mark his two years in office, the Executive Chairman of Eleme LGA, Chief Hon. Obarilomate Ollor has flagged off the construction of a new Council Secretariat for the people of Eleme LGA.

The foundation laying which was done by the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere also witnessed cash gifts to Ward Coordinators, Youth leaders and Women leaders of the People’s Democratic Party, Eleme.

The Chairman also used the medium to kick start his administration’s free health insurance scheme for Eleme people with 100 people as beneficiaries for the first phase.

Speaking during the event, Chief Ollor thanked the people of Eleme for the support they have given him this two years from its inception, he maintained that he has been able to fulfil his promises to the people except for the Council Secretariat and the Ebubu Road which he will definitely carry out before the end of his first tenure.

He added that he is doing what God has told him to do for the people and he will continue to make sacrifices to keep Eleme secured, safe and peaceful. He disclosed that he will be commissioning projects like the Nchia Motor Park, Eteo market, Onne Civic Centre and the Agbonchia Community Town Hall.

Dignitaries at the event include; Chief Ejor N. Ejor, a foremost leader of PDP in the State and LGA, Hon Isaac Kamalu, Commissioner for finance Rivers State, Hon. Chukwuemeka Aaron JP, deputy state chairman of PDP Rivers State, Hon. Chidi Lloyd, the executive chairman of Emouha LGA Hon. Allwel Ihunda, the Mayor of Port Harcourt Hon. (Dr.) Aforji Igwe member representing the good people of Eleme in the Rivers State House of Assembly. amongst others.
